Stilpnochlora couloniana - Giant katydid nymphs X4

X4 katydid nymphs - Unsexed. 

Mostly 6th moult 

Katydid of all species can jump and are more jumpy when they are nymphs. They can fly if they need to but it is unlikely. I personally have only witnessed them fly once at they didn't get very far. The Katydids are more active at night, 

Size - 4-7cm when fully grown.

Enclosure - for nymphs they can be kept in for example a large mantis den. Which is 19-29cm 

and Before they mature move them into an enclosure that is approximately 30x45cm minimum. Or bigger.

if you're nymphs end up to be the opposite sex. Once mature the males will call for the females at night. This noise isn't too loud but it is destintive. Once they have mated the females will lay eggs on branches (if provided) and on the stems/ leaves of food in their enclosure.
